Dunlop TT100 (K81) Motorcycle Tyres

The Dunlop TT100, also known by its K81 designation, was introduced in the late 1960s. It became the first production tyre to lap the Isle of Man TT course at over 100 mph—an achievement that gave the tyre its name and cemented its place in motorcycling history.

The TT100 quickly became the tyre of choice for a new generation of high performance motorcycles. It was fitted to machines from Triumph, BSA, and Norton, and soon proved equally at home on the rapidly growing range of Japanese sports bikes from Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, and Kawasaki. Whether used on a Triumph Trident, a Norton Commando, or a Honda CB750, the TT100 delivered the stability, grip, and steering response that these powerful machines demanded. Its tread pattern and construction suit the handling characteristics of 1960s–80s performance bikes perfectly, making it a favourite for both restorations and regular road use.

Dunlop continues to manufacture the TT100 using modern materials and quality control processes, ensuring consistent performance while preserving the tyre’s unmistakable vintage appearance. Available in a wide range of popular 18 and 19inch sizes, the TT100 provides the correct stance and dynamic behaviour for classic twins, triples, and early fourcylinder superbikes.

Its blend of heritage styling and dependable real-world performance makes it ideal for riders who want their classic to feel lively, responsive, and true to its era.
