Allard fitted these cars with a 625-16 crossply tyre, which is no longer available, but the 600-16 size is supported by many high-performance tyres. A 600R16 or 185R16 radial can be fitted as a replacement if required.
If you wanted room for the kids in the back of your Allard, then the L was built for you. A 6-inch longer chassis made room for some small rear seats. The M version added coil-springs and a column change to the mix. Popular here and abroad, where owners could fit their own choice of V8 engines!
