As is usual with Allards, the tyre fitted was unusual, the 625-16 crossply size is no longer available, but the 600-16 is, and there are a lot of performance options in that size. Radial replacment sizes would be either 600R16 or 185R16.
Arguably the most famous Allard, despite its origins as the most "sensible" one. A hard-top 2-door saloon based on the stretched M sportscar, the P1 was a gentleman's carriage. However, it was based on a very sporting platform, making it ideal as a enthusiasts speed-machine. Its fame derives mostly from the fact Allard himself won the 1952 Monte Carlo rally in one, becoming the only winner in a car with their own name on it!
