The TA14 and TB14 were originally fitted with a 600-16 crossply tyre, for which there are several good options. A 185R16 size could be fitted if a radial tyre is required.
The TB21 was equipped with a 600-15. The latter is no longer available, although a 640-15 as fitted to later T series cars will fit. If a radial tyre is prefered, then a 185R15 could be fitted.
The TA14 was Alvis's first post-war model, although it was really a modified prewar 12/70. old-fashioned but popular! There was a Cabriolet and DHC option too.
The unusually styled TB14 was a huge flop in 1950, and was restyled in 1952 as the TB21. It didn't really work, as it still looked less impressive than the contemporary Jaguar XK.
