Tyre Size: 600R16 (Radial) | Aston Martin DB2/4 1953 to 1957

Standard tyre fitment was a 600-16 crossply. Radial alternatives would be 600R16, or 185R16.

Aston wasted little time in developing its DB2, the 50s were a time of rapid change in car styling. Small rear seats were added, to make the car a 2+2, along with a small improvement in interior space. This was facilitated by a set of styling changes to the roofline, headlights and windscreen and rear window (now a hatch). Other styling tweaks were made, such as small rear fins for the MkII version, all of which made the car look more sophisticated, if a little less dramatic. Power rose over the life of this model, with an increase in displacement in 1954. Again a drophead was available, as was a 2 seater coupe; both are now very rare.
