Standard tyre fitment was a 475-19 crossply.
The Austin Light 12/6 arrived in 1931, with its fashionable small 6-cylinder engine. It was much more advanced than the old Twelve, but still a fairly conventional family sized car. The 12/4 was a 4-cylinder car on the same chassis.
