Bentley 6.5 Litre and Speed Six 1926 to 1930

Standard tyre fitment is a 700-21 crossply.

Bentley developed the bigger engine in response to competition from Rolls Royce. Alongside an improved chassis, and easier to use running gear, this model was a signinficant improvement over the 3 Litre. The intention was to make a more luxurious grand tourer and large saloon.

A further development was the Speed Six, with more power and different chassis dimensions. This was the basis on the famous Blue Train cars, and the racer that won Le Mans in 1929 and 1930.
