Daimler Regency, One-0-Four & Majestic 1951 to 1962

Although ostensibly three different models, this was more an evolution of a single design. Power, luxury and styling were updated through these models, until it became a polished performer in the luxury saloon market. What didn't help was the fact that Daimler traded on the basis of a high-quality, expensive product, even if it looked a little staid. Which was a marketing position that Jaguar took advantage of, with its cheaper and more glamourous products, leading to Daimler being taken over by the younger company.

Originally fitted with either a 650-16, or 670-16 crossply tyre. This can be replaced with a radial 670R16 if required, or a 185R16.
