Standard fitment for the Mk1 and Mk2 cars was a 14-inch wheel with a 520-14 crossply tyre. A suitable radial replacement size would be a 145R14 tyre. The Mk3 and Mk4 cars moved to a 13-inch wheel with a 560-13 crossply tyre. This could be replaced with a 165R13 radial tyre.
The Courier was built for sportscar racing, using proprietory mechanicals on a well-balanced chassis and suspension setup. Successful and attractive but only ever built in small numbers.
