Standard fitment is a 670-15 crossply tyre (can be replaced with a 185VR15 radial), with the option of a 815-15 crossply for the larger Excellence, the latter can be replaced with a 205VR15.
When Facel became Facel Vega, it named its original car the FV. A large stylish coupe with an American V8, it began the company's association with the great and the good. The FVS brought a bigger engine, and eventually better brakes. The Excellence was a limousine based on a stretched FVS platform, with great style and head-of-state presence.
