Standard fitment is a 145SR13 radial tyre, with the option of a wider 165/70R13.
The 128 took the advanced 124 and advanced it some more, by utilising a transverse front-wheel drive platform, without the oddness of the Mini's underslung gearbox. This became the norm for small family cars after the 128. Not many survivors, but worth looking for one of the sportier coupes.
