Strada & Abarth 130TC
Fiat Strada & Abarth 130TC
Fiat's late 70s supermini was called the Ritmo on the continent, and Strada in English-speaking markets. An interestingly styled hatchback, with good handling and practicality, which was further improved over the model's lifetime. Not a huge success in the UK, where this market segment was crowded by English and French companies. The 'Not the Nine O-clock News' spoof on Fiat's Robot advert didn't help either. Performance Abarth versions spectacularly good fun.
Standard tyre was a 145SR13, with the option of a 165/70SR13 on a wider wheel. Performance models were fitted with a 14-inch wheel, and 185/60HR14 tyre.
