Profile: 80 | Ford Prefect 100E & 107E 1953 to 1961

The standard tyre fitment for both models was a 520-13 crossply. A modern equivalent size would be 145SR13.

The 100E Prefect was essentially a 4-door 100E Anglia built to a higher specification of trim and luxuries. So a decent, small family saloon. When the all-new 105E replaced the 100E Anglia in 1959 there was no 4-door option So, to fill the gap, the new engines and mechanicals of the 105E were built into the old 100E Prefect to create the 107E Prefect. The 100E Prefect was essentially a 4-door 100E Anglia built to a higher specification of trim and luxuries.
