Brand: Michelin | Gilbern GT 1959 to 1967

Standard fitment was a 520-13 crossply tyre, later upgraded to a 590-13. These can be replaced by a 145SR13 or 165SR13 radial size respectively. The later 1800GT had a 14-inch wheel, with a 590-14 crossply tyre, which can be replaced by a 165SR14 radial tyre.

The GT was a fibreglass bodied spacefram coupe, built in Wales. A kit car approach means that there is a variety of power and suspension systems in surviving cars, but MGB mechanicals were popular.
