Standard fitment for the Invader remained the 165R15 from the Genie, and a wider 185/70R15 can be fitted.
Update to the Genie, the Invader I and II looked very similar, and had a similar formula with Ford Engines and modernised MGC suspension. There was also and Estate version to rival the Scimitar! The MkIII had Ford Cortina suspension, falred arches and a wider grille.
