Standard fitment for the earliest Mk1 models was a NLA crossply, but there was the option of a 155SR12 radial tyre that became standard fitment by 1977.
The Mk2 gained a 13-inch wheel, to which a 155SR13 radial tyre was fitted.
The Civic took Honda's Kei-car engineering nous, and sized it up for export markets, just as the OIl Crisis made everyone want smaller, economical cars. The Civic became a big succees in the US and elsewhere, and spawned a brand that still exists today.
