Standard fitment was a 575-16 crossply tyre.

Not as much of a stopgap as its style and small production numbers might suggest. It had new body panels over the prewar Rover 12 and 16, and a completely new engine.

It helped the company get through a tricky period before the P4 and Land Rover made it a success!
