Standard fitment was initially a 155SR14 until 1979, when a 13-inch wheel with 165SR13 radial tyre was fitted.
The replacement for the 1000MB platform that had been in service under Skoda models since the 60s. Was intended to be more advanced, but ended up being more of an update really. Survive well.
