Standard fitment was a 195/70R14 radial tyre.
The Celica Supra was a much upgraded Celica in this original form, with a lengthened nose to fit a big straight-six engine. This allowed it to compete with the big-engined Capri's and the Alfa GTV6 and Opels. More cruiser than sportscar, it's 80s styling was a refreshing contrast to the old-fashioned models in its segment.
