TVR 1600M/2500M/3000M/3000S & Taimar 1971 to 1979

The TVR grows a little more, and gains power and spec to match. All the 6-cylinder cars were specified with a 185HR14 radial tyre. The 1600M was originally fitted with a lower-speed rated 185SR14.

The 1600M kept the Capri 4-cylinder engine, the 2500M had the Triumph 6-cylinder that made it legal to sell in the US, and the 3000M used the Ford V6 from the Tuscan, for UK sales.

The 3000S was a convertible version of the 3000M.

There was also the Taimar version of the 3000M (from 1976 to 1979), which was identical except for the incredibly useful addition of a hatchback!
