This is the point at which TVR's modern reputation for noise, drama and high-excitement began. It's so much more than just a re-engined 70s wedge Tamsin/280i. The 350i's Rover V8 was fitted with loud tubular manifolds, and the car gained some styling flourishes. It caught on, and things would only get louder!
