Standard fitment for the Mk1 was a 165SR13 radial tyre, with the option of a 185/70SR13. The Mk1 2000GLS Coupe had a 175/70HR13 as standard.
The Mk2 also had the 165SR13 as a standard radial tyre, but the optional size was now a 185/70SR13. The SR and SRi models has a 14-inch wheel fitted, and a 195/60HR14 tyre.
Vauxhall's UK version of the Opel Ascona was a big success in the family saloon market. Had a Coupe and Sportshatch variant too!
