The HC was fitted as standard with a 560-13 crossply tye, with optional fitments of 155SR13 and 175/70HR13 radial tyres on wider wheels. The 155SR13 became the standard fitment tyre in 1977.
The Firenza and Magnum coupe models had the radial 155SR13 tyre as standard, with the 175/70HR13 as an option, and fited to the more powerful models.
The last of the Viva's the HC took the HB mechanicals and clothed them in a more attractive shell, with more internal room. The range of engines was improved, and the cars became more luxurious and offered more options to reflect customer demand. The Firenza coupe was developed as a competitor for the Ford Capri, later becoming the Magnum.
