Raised white letter tires became common in the late sixties on muscle cars like the Pontiac GTO and high performance pony cars, like the Ford Mustang. Raised white letter tires feature white rubber that is built into the tire's sidewall when the carcass is being assembled. Raised White Letter tubeless car tyre. This size is was the original fitment for the 1990s Buick Roadmaster and Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham. It is also a radial replacement for the 800-15 crossply.

*PLEASE NOTE* White letter tyres sometimes come with a protective blue paint on the white rubber. After fitting the tyres on the vehicle, this can be cleaned off using hot soapy water and a sponge or brush. This is also a good way of cleaning the white rubber.
