One of Dunlop’s most popular crossply tyre designs, the B5 became the default choice for many British saloon and sportscars from the 1930s into the post-war period. As such it remained in production for the classic-car market until Fort Dunlop finally closed in the 21^st Century! It’s distinctive tread-pattern and square shoulder made it easily recognisable. Vintage Tyres have developed a replacement B5 pattern tyre via its historical relationship with Dunlop, and using original moulds under our Ensign brand name. 

This 525/55600-19 size Ensign B5 is an ideal tyre for the Rolls Royce 20/25 and 25/30 models. It also fits: Alvis Speed 20, Crested Eagle and 3.5 Litre; Invicta 4.5 Litre; Lagonda 3 Litre and 4.5 Litre; Talbot 105 and 110; Armstong Siddeley 17 and 20; Austin 16 and 18; Daimler 20hp; Hillman 14, 16, 20 and Wizard and many others.
