The Nomad Power NP400 is a multi-function power pack that includes a powerful boost-start function suitable for 12v bikes, cars and light-commercial vehicles.

We've used ours on a variety of reluctant starters and have been impressed how many past-their-best batteries can be boosted on just one charge of the NP400. 

The NP400 can also be used as a power bank to top up mobiles and laptops. And there's a torch, too - a three-mode job with static, strobe (rapid flash) and SOS (slow flash) functions.

We like the build quality - everything supplied with the kit has survived numerous drops. And the reverse-polarity protection on the unit defends against clumsy connections. 

Everything comes in a zip-up carry case, so you can stick it in your boot or pannier and not worry about a cardboard box gradually disintegrating in the damp.

Charging is via a USB cable so you can top us the NP400 at home (in a mobile phone charger or computer) or in the car with the 12v adaptor supplied with the kit.
