Morgan 4/4 Series II to V & 1600 1955 to 1982

Morgan's entry-level model returned in 1955, using Ford power. Developed through 4 versions, sales were consistent. Significant facelift and engine upgrade for the Series IV.

The model was completely overhauled into the '1600' in 1968. It got a much larger Ford engine, and the option of rear seats, hence replacing the Plus 4. CVH engine in the last models.

Series II - Standard tyre fitted a 500-16 crossply tyre, with a 525-16 available as an option.

Series III and IV - Morgan fitted a 520-15 crossply tyre as standard.

Series V - 560-15 crossply as standard, a 155SR15 radial was an option from 1965 onwards.

1600 - Fitted with a 165SR15 radial tyre as standard.
