Enlarged 4CV, with more modern styling, and more powerful engines. Performance versions were now available, as part of a highly successful range.

Common fitments for the Dauphine were 500-15 crossply tyres (no longer available), and 135R15 radials (sometimes defined as 135-380 in the metric system). The 135R15 is the most common fitment now.
