Renault Fregate 1951 to 1960

Renault's post-war executive saloon differed from the rest of its range, it was front-engined and a bit staid. It was over-shadowed by the Citroen DS, and a little unloved, due to Renault's image as a more egalitarian car producer.

The Fregate was fitted with 600-15 or 640-15 crossply tyres. A radial replacement size would be 165SR15.
